Lagunak House was founded in 1982 by Arantxa Aizpurua and Jose Cruz Gesalaga, aided by their children in an old building in the center of Zarautz.
A restaurant where you can taste the best of traditional Basque cuisine, based on the best of local fresh produce. In the middle of the kitchen, the grill, where fish and meat are the real stars.

Lagunak cuisine focuses on the supply of local produce, we work with the best seasonal ingredients, adapting our carte and menus specific to each season’s fresh produce.
The freshest fish brought from Getaria’s Fish Market and the meat carefully selected from own breeding cattle, quality produce that are the basis of our menu.

Five minutes far from the beach, near the train station and bus stop, the location is perfect to enjoy the town of Zarautz or take it as a starting point for excursions to nearby towns. It’s close to San Sebastian or the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
